MJD, poem: Linked

I linked you and you linked me

Walking by the wishing tree;

Me – hoping for one last glance;

You – for one last Dance.

An impression like oak – an old oak tree

He is here, beside you and me.

He sees us link, like daisy’s in a chain;

Watching the love, that still remains.

Standing idly by, blessings from an Angel;

Casting spiritual glee – upon to thee –

With a dress of white – earned from life;

Living the good life, day to day.

James is here; so listen, lower your ear.

And a guiding voice – you will hear.
